Valérie Carpentier is a Quebec singer born on November 17, 1993 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec, Canada. She is known for winning the first season of La Voix in 2013, the Quebec edition of the television show The Voice. Her debut album Du Parc Belmont à Hôtesse de l'air was released in 2010. It features covers of Diane Dufresne songs. In 2013, the album L'Été des orages was released shortly after her victory on La Voix. The album features songs in both French and English. Notable tracks on this album include " Le Rendez-Vous ", " À Fleur de Peau " and " Notre Amour ". In 2016, Valérie released her second album entitled Pour Rosie. The album continued to strengthen her popularity with Quebec audiences, with tracks such as " Rosie" and " On ne dit jamais assez aux gens qu'on aime qu'on les aime ". Valérie Carpentier also scored a hit with the single " Monokini & tsunami " in 2021.
