So what do Vigon, Erick Bamy and Jay Kani have in common? A love of soul music, of course, and the fact that they have all appeared on a TV talent show at some point in their careers. The pair, who would soon be dubbed the "soul men" after the title of their debut album, formed Vigon Bamy Jay in late 2012. In early March 2013, they released a version of Morris Albert's "Feelings ", also known as "Dis lui" in Mike Brant's version. The album Les Soul Men, released on March 25, 2013, mixes covers of international and French standards. On November 27, 2014, the trio lost one of its members, Erick Bamy, who died of cancer at the age of 64. March 2015 sees the release of Love Me Tender: Hommage, an album devoted to the Elvis Presley repertoire.
