Hailing from Afula in the Northern District of Israel, DJs and producers Aviram Saharai and Matan Kadosh – formerly part of the Sesto Sento project – founded the psytrance duo Vini Vici in 2013. Mixing global pop sensibilities with the Goa-originating dancefloor cult of psytrance, Vini Vici set out their stall in 2015 with their first double single "Divine Mode"/"Trust In Trance," followed by breakthrough single "The Tribe." The pair soon became international dance music superstars after collaborating with Dutch trance legend Armin van Buuren and Hilight Tribe on "Great Spirit" in 2016 – which was certified gold in 2019. They launched their own label two years later, Alteza Records, releasing several powerhouse collaborations including "100" with Timmy Trumpet, "The House Of House" with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and "Moshi Moshi" with Steve Aoki. These high-profile link-ups led to a slot on the main stage at Belgian EDM extravaganza Tomorrowland as well as gigs at Ultra Music festivals in Miami and Europe and Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. In 2018, they dropped the singles "Karma" and "Alive" and in 2020 the single “Acid” featuring Freedom Fighters was released. The pair remixed iiO's 2001 dance-pop classic "Rapture" for a new single in 2022.
