South Korean rapper VINXEN was born Lee Byeong-jae on April 20, 2000 in Incheon. He burston to the K-pop scene in 2018 when he finished third in the television reality competition show High School Rapper 3. His final song on that program, ”Not at All”, became a number 10 hit and his debut EP, Smelting, which was released in May of that year, got to number 8. He returned to the Korean top 40 that year as a featured artist on the Groovy Room track “My Paradise”, and topped the singles chart with “Bar Code”, a collaboration with Haon, later in the year. He capped the year with the release of his second EP, Boycold 2, in late December. He featured on a number of 2019 singles for other artists, and in 2020 he dropped his maiden LP, Boy to Man. The album reached number 20. In 2021 he had the second biggest solo single of his career with “Flying High With U”.
