A member of The Allman Brothers Band, founder of Gov'T Mule and close associate of The Grateful Dead, Warren Haynes (born 1960 in North Carolina) is a respected blues and rock figure. Composer, guitarist and singer, he also supports various charitable projects such as The Christmas Jam, an annual gathering of leading artists ready to help the underprivileged. His busy schedule doesn't dissuade him from offering some fine solo escapades. The albums Tales of Ordinary Madness (1994, produced by Chuck Leavell) and Man in Motion (2011, with Ian McLagan and Ivan Neville) are good examples. Ashes & Dust , released in 2015, revolves around an acoustic formula.
