The Parisians have been part of the French neo metal (or nu metal) locomotive since the late 1990s. Watcha even imported this new sound from the USA, so to speak, with their homonymous debut album in 1998, followed by Veliki Cirkus in 2000. Watcha went on to influence many of France's "new metal" bands, including Pleymo, AqME and Enhancer..
