Widgunz

Born on August 28, 1999 in Côte d'Ivoire, rapper Widgunz, whose real name is Salim Maguiraga, wrote his first lyrics at the age of 9. This precocious talent confirmed his predisposition for music as early as 2012, collaborating with a number of rappers, including the group Kiff No Beat, at the age of 13. These experiences brought him closer to the Treize collective and enabled him to expand his network. He appears alongside Didi B on the single "Monnaie", which gives him a local spotlight. During a trip to the United States, he met Koffi Masta, with whom he decided to launch the L'Organization label. It was from this side of the Atlantic that the young rapper set his sights for his musical productions. A first 16-track mixtape, Entre Parenthèses , was released in 2018, bringing him to the attention of the public. The album Non followed in 2020, then Correct the following year. Now at full speed, he follows this up with a collaborative project, Big Three, on which he teams up with LM and Lesky. In 2021, a new 20-track project saw the light of day. Entitled High Demand, it featured collaborations with artists such as Shan'L, Didi B, Lesky, Koffi Masta, LM and Bebe Choppa. He teamed up with the latter in 2022 on the single "Halloween".
