Honest, touching and true-to-life lyrics are what make Wilhelmine's music so appealing. The musician grew up against a diverse background, in a squat in Berlin-Kreuzberg and later in Wendland, before moving back to Berlin. There she immersed herself in the world of music. She signs with Warner Music, where she releases her first single "Meine Liebe" (2019), followed by "Du" (2019). Her debut EP Komm Wie Du Bist is released the following year. She quickly attracts attention: TV appearances and a sold-out headline show make her known to a wide audience. Wilhelmine has a lot to say - from self-love, to all the little subtleties that make up everyday life, to her coming out - she was one of the ambassadors of the Berlin Pride parade in 2021. Her single "Drip" followed in 2020. A year later, her long-awaited debut album Wind is released. The longplayer reaches number 10 in Germany. 2022 Wilhelmine releases her acclaimed song "Besonders". A major tour of Germany follows. The singles "Nie wieder weggrennen" and "Paula (Akustisch)" together with Madeline Juno follow in 2023. In spring 2024, Wilhelmine released her second album Meere, including the single "Sie". Once again, she achieves a top position in the German charts with the album at number 14.
