Yasuyuki Okamura is a Japanese pop singer who started his own band while at high school and went on to perform at local clubs. He became successful as a teen idol with albums including 'Yellow' (1987), 'Date' (1988), 'Forbidden Life' (1995) and 'Mei-imi' (2004). Singles included 'Out of Blue' (1986), 'Super Girl' (1988), 'Tarzan Boy' (1991), 'Charm Point' (1995), 'Sex' (1999) and 'Mon-Shiro' (2004). He spent time behind bars on drugs charges and in 2011 he released an album titled 'Etiquette Pink & Purple'. He released singles 'Ai wa Osharejanai' and 'Kareshi Ni Natte Yasahiku Natte' in 2014 and 'Love Message' in 2015. A studio album titled 'Koufuku' came out in 2016 and in 2019 the single 'Shonen Saturday'. His 2019 schedule was to include appearances in Nagoya, Tokyo and Osaka.
