Brandon King (born April 10, 2007 in Gifford, Florida, United States) is better known to the rap world as YNW BSlime. In just a few short years, this talented young MC (brother to fellow rapper YNW Melly) has made a remarkable impression on the rap world, racking up millions of streams with his unique take on the genre. Even before bursting into the scene, YNW BSlime was referred to as a musical prodigy and a hip-hop phenomenon. In 2019, he released his debut album Baby Goat at only 12 years old. The full-length, which contained various singles such as “Slime Emotions” and “Gucci Belt,” earned the young rapper quite a bit of mainstream attention, with over 45 million plays across streaming platforms. Over the following year, YNW BSlime released several singles including “Luv U,” “Just Wait,” and “One Step,” which notably featured a guest appearance by his brother YNW Melly. In 2021, YNW BSlime released the singles “Regrets” featuring Jae Lynx, the sentimental “OTW,” and a collaboration with NLE Choppa titled “Citi Trends.” These singles were released in anticipation of YNW BSlime’s second album, titled Slime Fever, which saw the light in 2021.
