Born Jimmy Conway (29 September 1987), the British-Nigerian rapper known as Youngs Teflon began his musical trajectory scribbling down lyrics in his bedroom and at school before kicking off his professional career with The Call of Duty and Over the Head mixtapes, released on Hill Productions. He dropped a string of independent releases before unleashing his debut album, The Renaissance, in 2014. In 2015, he unveiled a further two mixtapes and the Jungle Book EP for Trillin Records. His second full-length album, Tracksuit Diaries, emerged in the summer of 2016 and went to number five on the UK album charts. 2019 saw the release of Blood, Swvgg & Tears with Call of Duty 3 following in 2020. The All Eyes on Me Against the World mixtape came in 2022, followed by the collaborative tape with fellow South London rapper Tiny Boost, called Purple Hearts (2023), which also featured A-list guest spots from the likes of Giggs and Wretch 32.
