YUDABINBAND

Yudabinband, also known as YdBB, is a five-member South Korean rock band formed under the sub-label Faction A Like of MPMG Music. With Sangwoon Lee as the band leader, YdBB consists of members Cho Young-yoon, Yu Dabin, Sangwoon Lee, Junhyung Lee, and You Myeong-jong. Created by singer-songwriter Yu Dabin, who gathered friends she had played music with during college, the band made its official debut on March 9, 2021, with their first single "LETTER." YdBB’s music spans across folk, blues, and rock, blending diverse styles into a unique sound that resonates with a growing fanbase known as "Tori." The band’s origin dates back to 2019, when Yu Dabin, encouraged by fellow musician Junhyung Lee, entered the 12th Money Today College Song Contest as a solo artist. Realizing the potential of collaborating with like-minded musicians, she brought together her college friends, forming Yudabinband. This formation was quickly validated as they won the contest's grand prize, which included a cash award of 5 million won. From there, YdBB continued to participate in and win awards at various music festivals. In 2024, Yudabinband released a new EP Ignite.
