Yung Pooda

Byron Lynn Nettles, Jr., (known as Yung Pooda), is a Houston-based rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer. Born on May 8, 1995 in Orange, Texas, he first gained attention in 2017 with a series of singles and freestyles that showcased his unique flow and versatile trap-based sound. In 2020, he made his global debut with "Repeat Dat," a track produced by Cool & Dre, continuing to gain recognition with his singles and collaborations such as "Get Some Money” (with Hogg Booma) and "Beat Up the Block” (with Paul Wall). Signing a deal with It's A 10 Records soon after, Yung Pooda joined forces with Grammy-winning producers Cool & Dre for his official debut single, "Repeat Dat." (2020). Over the next two years, Yung Pooda continued to release a string of top 40 singles including “Chicken N Grits,” (2021) “Forever Tippin” (feat. DJ Chose and Dre), (2021) “Trophies” (2022) and “Drop” (2022) returning in 2023 with “Did It Again,” and “Already Know,” a collaboration with Angelica Vila and A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, which peaked at number 25 on the radio rap charts.
