Better known by his stage name Żabson, Polish rapper Mateusz Zawitowski was born in Opoczno on July 2, 1994. In 2011, he moved to Kielce and took part in martial arts fights, where he met rapper Chaos, who encouraged him to pursue his own career. Under his stage name, derived from a childhood nickname, Żabson released his debut album NieKuman in 2015, which reached No. 3 in Polish record sales. This promising debut is followed by two EPs Passion Fruits (2016) and Trapollo (2018), and then the album To Ziomal, which in turn reaches No. 3 in the charts and earns a gold disc. In 2019, Internaziomal reaches the same position and wins a platinum disc. In 2021, the rapper reaches No. 1 for the first time with the Ziomalski Mixtape, followed by the album Amfisbena (2022), in collaboration with Yung Igi, which reaches No. 2 and collects a platinum disc. In 2023, Żabson surrounds himself with multiple collaborators on the album Ostatni Ziomal and collaborates with Kronkel Dom for the EP Macrodosing. In 2024, the track "Przekaz Mysli" reaches No. 10.
