Zakk Wylde

Jeffrey Phillip Wielandt, who goes by the name Zakk Wylde, is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who has performed with several artists including Ozzy Osbourne in a career that began in his hometown of Bayonne in New Jersey. He had stints with bands Stone Henge and Zyris, performing locally before Ozzy Osbourne hired him as lead guitarist and co-writer in 1988. He left in '95 and a year later released his first solo album 'Book of Shadows'. In 1998 he formed heavy metal band Black Label Society in Los Angeles and they have released several albums including three that topped Billboard's Hard Rock Albums Chart. His second solo album 'Book of Shadows II' came out in 2016 and reached number three on Billboard's Top Rock Albums Chart. He toured with Black Label Society across North America and Europe in 2018.
