Zera

Born Marina Pezerović on 16 December 2002 in the medieval Austrian town of Feldkirch to Serbian parents, the pop artist known as Zera melds crisp electronic beats and trap touches with her soulful voice. She cut her teeth posting covers of Serbian songs to Instagram, particularly "Ragga Session," which fortuitously caught the interest of its creator, Serbian producer Rasta. This led her to work with Generation Zed label rep Marko Panić Maleni, the brother of artist Nućija, and guaranteed her space at Serbia's new music table. Her first single "Do Zora" arrived in 2020, which incorporated parts of the German language and charted in Austria and Germany while also making waves in Serbia. Three more followed in 2021, "Da Li Si?" "Zove," and "Namerno," and a string of singles in 2022, including "Lepadasy" and "Kalasi." In 2023, she released the single "Tvoje Ime" and received multiple nominations at Serbia's Music Awards Ceremony 2023 (MAC 2023), for best viral video and music video, among other categories.
