English DJ and dubstep producer Joshua Mellody is better known by his stage name Zomboy. He was born in Penzance, Cornwall and studied music production at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford. Mellody made his debut as a recording artist with the single 'Organ Donor' released in 2011 on Never Say Die Records. His debut EP 'Game Time' was released later that year and spent over eight weeks in the top five in the Beatport Charts, establishing him as an up-and-coming DJ talent. The exposure brought him to the attention of Warner and Ministry of Sound who both started to release Zomboy tracks on various DJ compilations. Mellody cites Rusko and Skrillex as his primary influences in the creation of distinctive dubstep style. In 2017 he released an EP titled 'Rott N' Roll Part 1' to coincide with a tour of the US. Various remixes of the EP were released later that year and Mellody's reputation and standing as dubstep producer of international renown has continued to grow.
