On July 5th 2015, to mark their 50th anniversary as a band, the Grateful Dead played their final concert. It was the end of an era, and to legions of Deadheads, the end of a lifestyle that included following the band on tour, trading, sharing, and collecting recordings of their concerts, and being part of a community that celebrated both the music and the jam band culture that the Dead pioneered. These are the Grateful Dead’s classic songs, as well as those of their collaborators, contemporaries, and the artists they’ve inspired.
