Japanese all-male group Sandaime J Soul Brothers from Exile Tribe are an off-shoot of the larger EXILE TRIBE. The original group was formed in 1998 with the current lineup coming together in 2010, which consists of Naoto, Naoki Kobayashi, ELLY, Kenjiro Yamashita, Takanori Iwata, Ryuji Imaichi, Hiroomi Tosaka. Predominantly a singles group, some of their most popular tracks include "J Soul Brothers" (1999), "D.T.B." (2000), "Fly Away" (2000), "We!" (2008), "Freakout!" (2008), "Be on Top!" (2008) and "My Place" (2009), with the current incarnation releasing "Best Friend's Girl" in 2010 and the number 1 hit single "R.Y.U.S.E.I." in 2014. Ever since their official debut in 2011 with the album J Soul Brothers, all of the group's studio releases have entered the Top 5 of the Japanese Oricon charts, with Miracle (2013), Blue Impact (2014), Planet Seven (2015), THE JSB LEGACY (2017), and Future (2018) achieving pole position. Released only a year after their eighth album Raise the Flag (2020), the single "Replay" peaked at number 10 on the Japanese Line Music Top 100 chart in 2022 after being used as the theme song to the supernatural horror film Sadako DX. Despite the entire world being paralyzed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the group continued to play live concerts via live streaming and released the single "Rising Soul" as part of Exile Tribe's single "Rising Sun to The World" in 2021 and "Hand in Hand" in 2023. In 2024, Sandaime J Soul Brothers from Exile Tribe returned with their ninth full-length album Land of Promise, which debuted atop the Oricon charts. Later in the year, they released their 10th album ECHOES of DUALITY which also went in the chart.
