The masked musician 1986zig hides his identity, his face and his biography. He became famous through cover versions of various songs on social media within a few months and built up a huge fan base there. One of his fans is the German musician Clueso, with whom he spontaneously performed a duet on social media. The singer interweaves pop and urban in his music. His debut single "Einer von euch" was released in April 2021 on the Universal record label. This was followed by the songs "Goldraub" in collaboration with Bozza, "Mitternacht" and "Fliegen". The tracks were viewed more than 17 million times on all popular streaming platforms. The single "Kein Pause" followed in October 2021 and the song "Wir beide" in December . Not much is known about 1986zig, who lets his music speak for itself and hides behind a black balaclava with the white number 1986. With a voice that is both soft and smoky, he sings about his experiences such as secret love and inner turmoil. His lyrics are accompanied by urban beats and harmonious piano melodies. The artist celebrated his breakthrough with the album Zweite Chance in 2022. The album reached number 8 in the German top 10. After the pre-release single "Kopf aus" and number 3 in Germany, he also scored a hit in the German charts with the song "Valium", which reached number 27 with Samra. 1986zig regularly collaborates with other artists, including Kool Savas, Madeline Juno, PA Sports and Capital Bra. The single "Meine 1" is another hit for the singer, reaching number 21 in Germany. Another album, Einer von Euch, follows in September 2024.
