The son of two Iranian engineering graduates, Parham Vakili (April 1, 1990) began rapping at the age of 12 in Essen, Germany where he grew up. He first took the stage name PA Lyricist, and participated in local open mic and freestyle competitions, before taking on the stage name PA Sports. He joined rap crew Das Kollektiv who together released the online album Psychoshit and was spotted by Eko Fresh, who invited him to appear on the video for his track “Die Abrechnung” with Kool Savas. He began to work on some solo tracks with Eko Fresh's producer Kingsize, however, he then left Das Kollektiv and signed with Shrazy Records. In 2006, PA Sports formed a duo with KC Rebell called SAW and released the mixtape Schwarz auf Weiß together in the same year. This was followed by the full-length album Kinder des Zorns in 2008. Following this, PA Sports and KC Rebell left Shrazy records and released a single “Grausam” in 2009 with Manuellsen. After a short break from music, PA Sports released his debut album Streben Nach Glück in 2011. This included several collaborations including the track “Ich Hasse Dich” featuring Tua, “Musik” featuring Kianush, and “Zeit Maschine” featuring Silla. His second album “Vom Glück Zurück” followed in 2012 and reached Number 46 on the German Albums Chart in the week of its release. His third album Machtwechsel in 2013 fared even better, reaching Number 20. In 2014, he released H.A.Z.E., which peaked at Number 7 on the German Albums Chart. Also in 2014, the record label Life is Pain Entertainment was founded. PA Sports and Kianush were the first artists to sign to the label before releasing the collaborative album Desperadoz in 2014, followed by Desperadoz II in 2018. PA Sports also released the solo album Verloren im Paradies in 2017, which featured the popular track “Sie Will” with RAF Camora and Bonez MC. The album entered the Top 5 of the German Album Charts. A further collaborative single was released in 2018 called “Habibi” which was a Moe Phoenix track featuring PA Sports. He collaborated with Moe Phoenix again in 2019 with “Warum Ich.” He also had two Top 50 hits in the German Singles Chart in 2019, firstly reaching Number 48 with “Push” featuring Kianush and Mosh36 and then Number 41 with “Hellwach” featuring Jamule and MoTrip. The latter was included in PA Sports’ eighth studio effort, Keine Tränen. PA Sports’ creative partnership with Kianush continued in 2020 with the album Crossover, followed by a third installment of the Desperadoz series in 2021. Despite not being released as a single, the track “Rockstars” peaked at Number 21 on the German charts.
