24K

24K, a South Korean boy band under Choeun Entertainment, consists of five members: Kiyong, Imchan, Xiwoo, Yuma, and Takeru. Before their debut, the acoustic pop sub-unit 4K, featuring original group members vocalists Cory, Seokjune, Kisu, and Sungoh, made their mark with EP Rocking Girl in June 2012. The group expanded to include Daeil and Byungho and released their first mini album under the name 24K, Hurry Up, with the title track appearing on September 6, followed by second mini album, U R So Cute, featuring a blend of hard rock and a European-style house beat which landed them in the top 20 on the Korean charts. After a 2-year hiatus, 24K returned with the digital single "Hey You," introducing two new members, Hui and Jinhong as well as third mini album, Super Fly, in 2015. The group toured throughout 2016 with missing members, taking on an additional two performers soon after, releasing "Still 24K" in August 2016 and full-length album, The Real One, in October 2016, which contained previous hits as well as new single "Bingo.” The band continued to release music, including EPs Addiction (2017) which hit the charts at number 12 and Bonnie N Clyde (2018), however were beset by further departures over the next few years, leading to a recording hiatus while the group revamped their line-up. On June 12, 2021, 24K returned with the non-album single "Welcome to the Mainstreet".
