B.I.G

Also known as "Boys in Groove," B.I.G. is a K-pop boy band best known for the 2015 hit "Taola." The group formed in 2014 in Seoul, South Korea. Bandmates J-Hoon, Gunmin, Benji, Minpyo, Jinseok, and Heedo debuted with the single "Hello," which was released in July 2014. "Are You Ready?" arrived later that year. In 2015, B.I.G. reached the charts for the first time with "Taola," which hit number 15 in Japan. The song also appeared on the group's debut EP, Aphrodite, which was released in 2016 and became a Top 40 success in South Korea, where it peaked at number 29 on the Gaon Album Chart. Hello Hello followed in 2017 and reached number 25 on the same chart, and the band appeared in the MBC Music reality TV show B.I.G Project that same ear. Another record, Illusion, appeared in 2019 and reached number 60. Illusion's title track was released in both Korean and Arabic, with B.I.G. becoming the first K-pop act to record a song in the Arabic language. Other singles followed, including 2021's "Flashback" and 2023's "Want." Meanwhile, the group's roster slimmed to a four-piece with the departures of Benji and Minpyo.
