8Turn is a K-pop boy band originating from Seoul, South Korea, formed by talent agency MNH Entertainment. The band debuted on January 30, 2023, and consists of eight members: Myungho, Jaeyun, Minho, Yoonsung, Haemin, Kyungmin, Yungyu, and Seungheon. With two extended plays and several singles, they have already achieved chart success and amassed a following, marking them as one of the new groups to watch in the K-pop scene. Before their group debut, some members gained experience in the entertainment industry; notably, Jaeyun was a contestant on survival shows like Boys24 and Mix Nine, while Kyungmin participated in Mnet's I-Land. The group officially debuted with the release of their first mini-album 8Turnrise (2023). This debut album peaked at number 13 on the Korean charts and sold over 45,000 copies. One of its singles, "Tic Tac," charted at number 126 in Korea. Just a few months later, on June 26, 2023, 8Turn followed up their debut with a second extended play titled Uncharted Drift. This release also made an impact, reaching number 18 on the Korean charts and selling 48,683 copies. Their discography includes popular songs such as "Say My Name," "Wonder," "Heartache," and "We," all of which found spots on the Korean charts.
