AAAMYYY

AAAMYYY (pronounced "Amy"), born on February 5, 1991, is a Japanese singer-songwriter, trackmaker, and member of the band Tempalay, where she handles chorus and synthesizer. Originally from a small village in Nagano Prefecture, she began taking piano lessons at a neighbor's house from first grade through junior high. In high school, she joined the light music club, learning various instruments including drums, bass, and guitar. While in Canada, she discovered the international music scene and began creating music using GarageBand on her laptop. After returning to Japan and briefly working as an English teacher, she began her music career in 2014 as part of the duo eimie. She launched her solo project AAAMYYY in 2017 and officially joined Tempalay in 2018. Her solo debut album BODY was released in 2019. AAAMYYY continues to explore eclectic sounds and recently released the track ”Relax”(2025), reflecting her signature chill and experimental style.
