Addison Rae Easterling (October 6, 2000) is an American singer, dancer, and Internet celebrity. Born in Lafayette, Louisiana, Addison Rae started dancing at the age of 6 and participated in several competitions. She studied sports broadcasting at the Louisiana State University before relocating to Los Angeles to further develop her career as an influencer. In 2019, Addison Rae began uploading videos of her dancing to popular songs on her video sharing site, gaining over a million followers in just a few months. Later that year, she joined the influencer collective The Hype House alongside Chase Hudson and Charlie D’Amelio. This success led to a partnership with American Eagle, a podcast titled Mama Knows Best, and her own cosmetics line, Item Beauty. Her music debut arrived in 2021 through the single “Obsessed,” which reached Number 10 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 and charted in Canada, New Zealand, and the UK.
