Albert Castiglia, born on August 12, 1969 in New York City, is an American blues singer and guitarist. At the age of five, his family moved to Miami, Florida, where Albert Castiglia learned to play the guitar. His musical career began when he joined the band of legendary blues musician Junior Wells. He later worked with singer Sandra Hall before embarking on a solo career. Albert Castiglia is known for his energetic live performances and his blend of modern electric blues and contemporary blues. His notable albums include Keepin On (2010), Living The Dream (2012) and Masterpiece (2019). His album Masterpiece has been described as a very personal work that reflects his experiences and emotions. In 2023 he released the album Blood Brothers together with Mike Zito, which was awarded "Best Blues Rock Album" at the Blues Music Awards. His latest solo album Righteous Souls was released on July 19, 2024. Albert Castiglia is known for his impressive guitar technique and his ability to combine traditional blues elements with modern influences. His music is appreciated by critics and fans alike.
