Aldebert

Born Guillaume Aldebert on July 7, 1973 in Paris, the singer Aldebert first took a vocational baccalaureate in photography before developing a passion for music. He played in a metal band called White, then radically changed his style when he went solo in 1999 with an album of French chanson called Plateau Télé. Strongly influenced by Georges Brassens and Charles Trenet, his songs are imbued with a sense of childhood and nostalgia. In 2004, he produced the album Sur Place Ou à Emporter, which won the Radio France trophy for French chanson. L'Année du Singe followed in 2004. The singer defended this release on stage, culminating the tour with a performance at the Olympia. Les Paradis Disponibles, in 2006, reached number seven in the French album charts. Gradually, Aldebert turned his new songs over to children. He released Enfantillages (2008), featuring contributions from artists such as Anne Sylvestre, Maxime Le Forestier, Élodie Frégé and Renan Luce. He created the show J'ai Dix Ans (2010), accompanied by an eponymous album, then released Les Meilleurs Amis in 2011. In 2013, the second volume of children's songs, Enfantillages 2, featured some twenty guest duets. He repeated the experience two years later in the run-up to the festive season with Enfantillages de Noël, on which he welcomed Pauline Croze, Florent Marchet, Oldelaf, Jean-Pierre Marielle and Michaël Grégorio. A third volume, Enfantillages 3, welcomed Olivia Ruiz, Zaz, Grand Corps Malade, Tété and Tryo in 2017. In 2018, he celebrates the tenth anniversary of his concept with the album Enfantillages, les 10 Ans, featuring Gauvain Sers, Kids United Nouvelle Génération, Claudio Capéo and Dagoba. Enfantillages 4, released in 2021, extends the concept of mixing genres with Oxmo Puccino, Calogero, Alain Souchon and Arthur Teboul. Two years later, he returns with a surprising concept: mixing music for children with metal on the album Helldebert - Enfantillages 666 (No. 6 in the French charts). He convinces international artists Max and Igor Cavalera (ex-Sepultura, Cavalera Conspiracy) and Serj Tankian to take part, alongside Yarol Poupaud, Stéphane Buriez and -M-.
