Alessia Caracciolo, who goes by the name Alessia Cara, is a Canadian singer-songwriter who garnered attention for her performances of R&B and soul songs on her YouTube channel. After appearances on local radio stations she released an EP titled 'Four Pink Walls' which reached number eleven on the Canadian Chart and number 31 on the Billboard 200 in 2015. Her first single 'Here' went to number five on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2016. It appeared on her 2015 debut album 'Know-It-All' along with 'Scars to Your Beautiful' which peaked at number eight and 'Wild Things' which reached number 50. The album went to number eight on the Canadian Albums Chart, number nine on the Billboard 200 and number 14 on the UK Albums Chart. She toured with Coldplay and Foxes and in 2017 her single 'Stay' with Zedd reached number seven on the Hot 100 and '1-800-273-8255' with Logic went to number three. Both tracks were nominated for Grammy Awards and Cara won as Best New Aartist in 2018.
