Alexander Stewart was born in Toronto, Canada and garnered attention for his covers of popular songs, beginning with Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind" in 2015 and spanning the likes of Camila Cabello’s “Havana” and many others. He released his first album Backwards in 2020, cementing his status as a pop singer-songwriter with a killer voice. His sophomore album bleeding heart (2024) saw his fanbase grow even more, spawning a hit in 2023 single "I Wish You Cheated," which cracked the Top 30 Adult Contemporary Songs Billboard chart in Canada.
