Born on February 1, 1975 in Gatineau (Canada), Alexandre Désilets launched his career in 2006 by winning the Festival international de la chanson de Granby. His debut album Escalader l'Ivresse (2008) earned him several nominations, including four at the ADISQ Gala in Quebec. From 2008 to 2010, he performed at several festivals in Quebec and France, including the Francofolies de La Rochelle in 2010. He then went on to release 4 albums in 11 years: La Garde (2010), where the title track climbed the Quebec charts, Fancy Ghetto (2014) including the hit "Rénégat ", Windigo (2016) and Les Gens Heureux (2021). At the same time, he collaborates with a number of artists, including Rita Tabbakh, renowned for her title role in the musical Shérazade, in a duet on the song "Et si tu n'existais pas", a cover of a Joe Dassin hit. He has also been invited to Andorre-la-Veille (Andorra) in 2019 to take part in Cirque du Soleil's show Rebel.
