Born on June 27, 1970, in Surrey, England, Alexis Ffrench is a pioneering classical soul pianist, composer, and producer. He incorporates his classical training with his love of R&B and roots music. With over 200 million streams on social media platforms and a series of hit albums, he was acknowledged as the UK’s biggest selling pianist in 2020. Alexis Ffrench’s musical journey began at the age of four when he began improvising on the piano. He later became the youngest church organist in England. This interest in piano and keyboards eventually led to scholarships for The Purcell School for Young Musicians, the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He released his debut album, Piano Diaries, in 2006. Although it took another three years before he released new music, Alexis Ffrench released a total of four albums in 2009: The Secret Piano, Piano Arias, The Singing Planet, and Meditations. Subsequent albums include Stolen Lullabies (2013), The Piano Whisperer (2016), Evolution (2018), Together At Last (2018), Dreamland (2020), and Truth (2022), which was recorded with a 70-piece orchestra. As his popularity grew, he headlined shows at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England, performed at the Latitude Festival with Paloma Faith, and composed film scores.
