The American singer and actress Amanda Michelle Seyfried was born in Allentown on December 3, 1985. She grew up in her hometown. She began her career as a child model as a child and later starred in the TV series All My Children and As the World Turns. Amanda Seyfried made her acting breakthrough in 2004 in the comedy film Girls Club. In 2008, she played Sophie in the film musical Mamma Mia! and sang songs such as "Honey, Honey" and "I Have a Dream", which were released on the film soundtrack. Further songs followed, which she recorded through her acting roles in various films. Among others, she sings "Little House " (2010) in the literary adaptation The Shining of Silence. Together with Russell Crow, Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway, she appeared in the 2012 musical film Les Misérables and sang the songs "One Day More", "A Heart Full of Love - Reprise" and "Suddenly - Reprise".
