Amaury Vassili

The young French tenor Amaury Vassili was born in Rouen in 1989. In a style that alternates between French and international variety, film music themes and the lyrical repertoire, he gained notoriety through a series of recordings, after distinguishing himself in singing competitions. His wide-ranging debut album, Vincero (2009), inaugurated his presence in the sales charts, which became constant with the following collections of covers: Cantero (2010), Una Parte di Me (2012), Amaury Vassilli Chante Mike Brant (2014) and Chansons Populaires (2015). On May 14, 2011, the Normandy native entered the Eurovision Song Contest with the Corsican-language track "Sognu", ranked 15th. He sang duets with Sofia Essaïdi, Dominique Magloire and Barbara Opsomer.
