Amble

Amble is an Irish folk trio comprising Robbie Cunningham (vocals and guitar), Ross McNerney (mandolin and guitar) and Oisín McCaffrey (guitar and vocals). The group blend traditional sounds with a contemporary edge. Forming in 2022, Amble released their debut single, "Mariner Boy," in 2023, showcasing their blend of traditional instruments like fiddles, flutes, and bodhrán, alongside guitar, banjo, and bass. The band’s original compositions weave together personal stories and universal themes, drawing inspiration from the landscapes, myths, and emotions of Ireland. Whether performing stirring ballads or foot-stomping tunes, Amble’s live shows have become known for their energy, authenticity, and the undeniable connection they forge with their audience. Since their formation, Amble has quickly gained recognition on the Irish and international folk scenes, boosting their profile via Tik Tok and earning praise for their ability to honor their roots while pushing the boundaries of the genre. Their growing catalogue of music includes a string of singles and EPs such as the 2023 single "Mary's Pub," the Of Land and Sea EP (2024), "Full Circle," The Commons EP (2024) and "Sam Hall," also released in 2024.
