An Yu Jin

An Yu-jin, also known by her mononym Yujin, is a South Korean singer born on September 1, 2003. She gained recognition as the leader of the girl group Ive under Starship Entertainment and as a former member of the South Korean-Japanese group Iz*One. An was part of Starship Entertainment's team in the reality girl group survival show Produce 48, where she placed fifth and debuted with Iz*One in October 2018. The group released their debut extended play ColorIz, featuring "La Vie en Rose" as its lead single. An's participation in the televised singing competition King of Mask Singer followed shortly after her debut with Iz*One. Following Iz*One's disbandment in April 2021, An and fellow groupmate Wonyoung returned to Starship Entertainment as trainees. Ive, Starship Entertainment's new girl group, was announced in November 2021 with An as the leader and one of the vocalists. They made their official debut with the single album Eleven on December 1, 2021. In 2022, An served as a panelist on season two of Steel Troops and led the tvN variety show Earth Arcade alongside Oh My Girl's Mimi, Lee Young-ji, and Lee Eun-ji. She also hosted the 28th Dream Concert, released the promotional single "Move Like This" with Kang Daniel and Yuna Kim, and co-hosted the year-end SBS Gayo Daejeon festival. An has continued her successful career in 2023, hosting the Earth Arcade spin-off, Earth Arcade's Vroom Vroom, and being nominated for two awards at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards, winning the Prizm Popularity Award (Female). She also hosted the SBS Gayo Daejeon for the third consecutive year. In December 2023, An is set to sing the Korean version of "This Wish," Disney's Wish's main theme.
