Andreas Dorau (born January 19, 1964 in Hamburg) is a German musician. The artist celebrated his greatest successes at the beginning of the 1980s as an interpreter of Neue Deutsche Welle. Andreas Dorau wrote his biggest hit "Fred vom Jupiter" at the age of 15 as part of a school club. He sent the song to the Ata Tak label with a new mix. In 1982, the single "Fred vom Jupiter " is released under the band name Die Doraus & die Marinas. The song climbed to number 21 in Germany and stayed in the charts for 18 weeks. In 2014, the best-of album Aus der Bibliothèque was released to mark his 50th birthday.
