Andy Emler is an adventurer of jazz improvisation - jazz with quotation marks, by the way, so varied are his sources of inspiration. In 1986, he was invited to join François Jeanneau's newly-created Orchestre National de Jazz. In 1990, Andy Emler created MegaOctet, a most dazzling octet. Unclassifiable, Andy Emler received numerous awards for West in Peace in 2007. He continues his journey as a sound adventurer with Crouch, Touch, Engage. Pause in 2011 is a beautiful moment of improvisation.
