Andy Rivera is a Latin urban artist from Colombia. Born Andrés Felipe Rivera Galeano on October 28, 1994, in the city of Pereira, he is the son of famous pop singer Jhonny Rivera. He began his music career in 2011 with the single "En Busca de Ella," produced by Pipe Calderón and DJ Kano. In 2012, his single "Te Pintaron Pajaritos" with reggaeton duo Yandar & Yostin became a massive international hit, accumulating over 70 million views on video-sharing websites and reaching the charts in Argentina, Chile, and several other Latin American countries. He followed this success with the collaborative hit singles "Los Perros Se Enamoran" (2013) with Nicky Jam, "Espina de Rosa" (2013) with Dálmata, "Mañana" (2014) with Karol G, and "Salgamos" (2014) with Maluma and Kevin Roldán. La Nueva Era: The Mixtape, his debut EP, appeared in 2016. A year later, Andy Rivera teamed up with urban music duo Dayme y el High on the joint EP Sustancia, which spawned the hits "Enamorarte" and "Será," featuring Joey Montana and Lenny Tavarez, respectively. Over the next few years, the singer's streaming numbers continued to rack up thanks to releases like his 2019 studio debut 50/50 or the extended play Dual, released in 2022. That same year, his single "Te Perdí" featuring Beéle peaked at Number 94 on the Colombian streaming charts.
