Anna Abreu is a Finnish pop star who appeared in the third season of Finnish 'Idols' in 2007. She auditioned when she was 16 and finished as the runner-up after performing songs by Alicia Keys and Sheryl Crow, among others. She was born in Vantaa, to a Finnish mother and Portuguese father and is multilingual. After her success on 'Idols' she released the hit single 'End of Love' and then her debut album 'Anna Abreu' in 2017. Her next album, 2008's 'Now', was more dance-orientated and featured the hit single 'Vinegar'. In 2009 she released her third album 'Just a Pretty Face?' and the album 'Rush' in 2011. She released her 'Greatest Hits' album in 2012. Further albums followed with 2014's 'V', including single 'Ra-ta Ta-ta', and 'Sensuroimaton Versio' in 2016, as Abreu cemented her status as one of Finland's top-selling artists. She is currently based in Helsinki and released her single 'Se Syo Naista' in 2019.
