Annalisa Scarrone (August 5, 1985), who goes by just her first name and sometimes as Nali, is an Italian pop and rock singer-songwriter who began performing locally as a teenager in Carcare, west of Genoa. She attended the University of Turin and had stints with the groups Malvasia and Elaphe Guttata before garnering attention in music talent competitions. Her 2011 debut album, Nali, went to Number 2 on the Italian Albums Chart and her single “Diamante Lei e Luce Lui” reached Number 9 on the Singles Chart. “Mentre Tutto Cambia” (2012) peaked at Number 9 on the Italian Albums Chart, “Non So Ballare” (2013) hit Number 6, “Splende” (2015) Number 7, “Se Avessi un Cuore” (2016) Number 4 and “Bye Bye” (2018) Number 2. Hit singles in Italy include “Senza Riserva” (2012), “Scintille” (2013), “Sento Solo il Presente” (2014), “Vincerò” (2015), and “Il Mondo Prima di Te” (2018). She has featured on tracks by Moreno, Vanessa Martin, Raige, and Rocco Hunt and in 2019 she released the single “Vento Sulla Luna” featuring Italian rapper Rkomi. The single was also contained in Nuda, her seventh full-length, which saw the light in 2020. Other singles from the album include “Tsunami,” “Dieci,” and “Movimento Lento,” an urban-tinged Latin pop song that featured singer Federico Rossi and reached Number 35 in Italy.
