With a background in rock, jazz and world music, Anouk Aïata was part of UrbanSwing SoundSystem with Dee Nasty and Dierdre Dubois from 2008 to 2010. She left this experience to devote herself to her own project with cellist Amos Mâh. Part folk, part chanson, part world, Anouk Aïata is what you might call an unclassifiable artist. After a preview in 2012 with the Anouk Aïata EP, the two accomplices let their talent shine through in April 2013 on La Femme Mangeuse des Nuages du Ciel.
