Les Sœurs Boulay is a Canadian folk music duo from Gaspésie, Quebec. It was formed in 2012 by sisters Stéphanie and Mélanie Boulay, who released their studio debut Les Poids des Confettis in 2013. Driven by the popularity of the single "Mappemonde," the album was shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize and garnered several nominations for the GAMIQ Awards. The duo spent the following year touring around Canada and followed up in late 2015 with a second album titled 4488 de l'Amour. Their busy touring schedule was brought to a halt in 2017 after Mélanie's pregnancy, but they would return in 2019 with their first charting effort La Mort des Étoiles, which climbed to Number 23 on the Canadian Albums chart. Preceded by the singles "Les Lumières dans le Ciel" and "Je Te Vais Faire Danser," their third full-length Échapper à la Nuit appeared in 2022 and entered the Canadian Top 50 at Number 47.
