Antilopen Gang

Daniel Pongratz (Danger Dan), Tobias Pongratz (Panik Panzer) and Kolja Podkowik (Koljah) joined forces as Antilopen Gang in 2009, released several EPs and mixtapes in different constellations and went viral with "Fick die Uni" (2009). in 2013, founding member Jakob Wich (NMZS) took his own life. They dedicated the debut album Aversion (2014) to him, which climbed to number 41 in the German charts. With the single "Beate Zschäpe hört U2", they gave everyday racism the musical middle finger and were sued by presenter Ken Jebsen for mentioning KenFM in the lyrics. Jebsen lost the case and had to bear the costs of the proceedings. in 2015, they received a New Music Award and an Amadeu Antonio Prize. Two years later, they released their second album Anarchie und Alltag, which reached number 1 in the German album charts. In addition to 14 new songs, the LP also contained the bonus album Atombombe auf Deutschland, on which 12 Antilopen songs were reinterpreted in a punk rock guise. They received vocal support from Bela B. (Die Ärzte), Campino (Die Toten Hosen) and Monchi (Feine Sahne Fischfilet), among others. They were also successful in the charts with their two 2020 albums Abbruch Abbruch and Adrenochrom. in 2021, they won a VIA Award in the Best New Music Business category with their label Antilopen Geldwäsche. On December 24, the first Antilopen Geldwäsche sampler will be released, which made it to number 3 in the German album charts. In addition to Danger Dan, Panik Panzer and Koljah, the album also features Max Herre, Fatoni, Maeckes and Zugezogen Maskulin as guest musicians. In 2024, the Antilopen Gang returns with Alles muss repariert werden. The album climbs to number 3 in Germany.
