April Art

April Art is a German modern metal band from Hesse, founded in 2014. The group consists of singer Lisa-Marie Watz, guitarist Chris Bunnell, bassist Ben Juelg and drummer Julian Schuetze. Their musical career officially began in 2019 with their debut album Rise & Fall. The band operates in the genre of modern metal, combining elements of hard metal with melodic passages, electronic elements and hip-hop influences. April Art released their first single "Break Out" in 2020 , followed by "Break the Silence" in 2021. Both singles made it onto the playlists of major radio stations such as Radio Bob!, Rockantenne, Radio21 and Star FM. In 2023, the band embarks on their first major headlining tour with 20 shows, many of which are sold out. They also perform at various festivals, including the 70000 Tons of Metal Cruise. April Art are planning their Rodeo Tour for 2024, which will take them across Germany. They are also confirmed for over 25 festivals, including the Wacken Open Air, Alpen Flair in South Tyrol and the Metalfest Open Air in the Czech Republic. The band's latest album, Rodeo, was released in October 2024 and has reached number 26 in Germany.
