Apsilon, real name Arda Yolci, was born in Berlin-Schöneberg in 1997 and grew up in Berlin-Moabit. He is a German rapper with Turkish roots. His musical career officially began in 2021 after he was discovered by rapper and producer Ahzumjot. Apsilon moves in the genre of political hip-hop and trap. his lyrics are socially critical and deal with topics such as racism, capitalism and the experiences of migrants in Germany. in 2021, Apsilon released his debut double single "Sport / Ich leb" via Four Music. The EP Gast follows in January 2022. After further singles, the EP 32 Zähne is released in October 2022, followed by the EP Blei in May 2023, which includes the joint single "90 Kilo" (together with Luvre47). In October 2024, Apsilon releases his debut album Haut wie Pelz. The album climbs to number 10 in Germany. Paula Hartmann, Boondawg, Blumengarten and Caney030 are among those involved. The single "Grau" (together with Paula Hartmann) reaches number 11 in the German single trend charts. Apsilon regularly performs at festivals such as Spektrum, Splash and About You Pangea. He presents his song "Baba" in the TV format ZDF Magazin Royale in November 2023. At the Hiphop.de Awards 2023, Apsilon receives an award in the category "Lyricist of the Year National".
