AqME was formed in Paris in 1999. After their first English-language demo, University of Nowhere in 1999, the band scored a hit with Sombres Efforts in 2002. Ravaging on stage, AqME raised cohorts of fans and saw Polaroïds & Pornographie reach number 16 in the Top charts. AqME's neo-metal appeal returned in 2005 with La Fin des Temps. Hérésie, released in February 2008, confirms the stability of AqME's impact, reaching No. 33 in French sales. Koma (AqME) gives his band a fitting farewell with Épithète, Dominion, Épitaphe in April 2012. With the incoming Vincent Peignart-Mancini, AqME decides to Dévisager Dieu in November 2014.
