Axelle Red

Axelle Red (born Fabienne Demal on February 15, 1968) began her career as Faby in the early 1980s, but it wasn't until her debut album at the beginning of the following decade that she really made a name for herself. From hit to hit, the flamboyant-haired singer has won over a wide audience with songs that combine sensual interpretation with a resolutely soulful spirit, including the hits "Sensualité" and "A tâtons", and the duet "Manhattan Kaboul" with Renaud. 2011 sees the release of Un Coeur Comme Le Mien and the duet "La Claque" with Stephan Eicher. In 2013, Gérard Manset signs a track on Rouge Ardent, produced by Mark Plati, marking a return to the pop-tinged soul of his early days. Three years later, he released The Songs (Acoustic), a personal selection from his repertoire.
