Baby Rasta & Gringo are a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo who began life as the band Eazy Boyz when they started out in 1988. They originate from the Hato Rey district of San Juan and made their recording debut in 1998 with the album 'New Prophecy'. The band is comprised of vocalists Wilmer Alicia (Baby Rasta) and Samuel Gerena (Gringo). By the time they released their third album 'Sentenciados' in 2004 they began to experience difficulties working together and, finding themselves unable to resolve their differences, decided to split up. In 2008 Alicia and Gerena resolved their differences and released the album 'The Comeback'. It was followed by a seven-year recording hiatus until in 2015 the duo released 'Los Cotiziados'. The album spawned the hit single 'Un Beso' which subsequently topped the charts in a number of Latin American countries including Honduras, Chile and Peru.
