Rafael Castillo Torres (September 17, 1984) is an American-born reggaeton artist who performs under the stage name De la Ghetto. Born in New York City and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he initially rose to fame as one half of the reggaeton duo Arcángel & De la Ghetto, which appeared in several compilations and released their studio debut Las Nuevas Amenazas in 2007. After parting ways with Arcángel later that year, De la Ghetto featured in a remix of Tito el Bambino's "Siente el Boom" and dropped his solo debut Masacre Musical in 2008. Driven by the hit single "Tú Te Imaginas," Masacre Musical reached Number 46 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums Chart and was followed by the 2013 mixtape Geezy Boyz: The Album. Featuring cameos by Daddy Yankee, Ozuna, J Balvin, and Maluma, his second full-length Mi Movimiento cracked the Top 5 of the Billboard Latin Rhythm Albums chart and received a nomination to the Latin Grammys in the category of Best Urban Music Album. Over the next few years, De la Ghetto issued a fourth album titled Los Chulitos (2020) and continued to collaborate extensively with some of the biggest names in reggaeton, releasing the song "Loco por Perrearte" with Rauw Alejandro in 2022.
